NFC Payment Processing via POS/Merc

Do any of the TTers that use Point of Success and Mercury Payment Systems have their NFC terminals working yet? I would like to get it going with ApplePay and PayPal asap but I’m not sure what terminals to purchase. I believe we are supposed to have them by Oct but my guess is that it will get pushed back. Then again, who knows. Thanks much.

It is my understand that POS has them in stock, and to use them you need Ver 3.5 update.

I am still running the older MSR’s and plan to get the new NFC encrypted readers in the next week or so, I’ve been holding off because we are in our tourist season, and don’t need to retrain cashiers when it is this crazy.

NFC with Point of Success 3.5+ requires the VX-805 device. Ask Mercury to set your merchant account to allow NFC and you’re done.
