Opinions please. Companion restaurant to pizza?

We have a 75 seat successful pizza restaurant in a strip mall with some open spots.

This got me wondering, other than pizza what kind of “companion” restaurant would be a good match?
(Theoretically, or if anyone has experience)

Coffee?
Sandwich?
Ice Cream?

I know it’s very vague, but I am interested in hearing any ideas?

I have seen ice cream a lot. There is a burger place nearby that opened up an ice cream shop that also sells candy by the pound. Customers eat there and then walk next door to finish off the meal, and kids usually take home some candy.

We moved from a larger sit down location next door to a smaller slice shop model almost 2 yrs ago. We rented our old space (we own the building) to a burger shake concept. Although there is minimal overlap with appetizers etc it has worked really well and traffic has increased thus helping us both.

Thanks for the ideas!

At the time of the original post, a spot was open next to my original store.

I ended up opening another pizza spot a few miles on the other side of town.

Stick with what I know I guess…
