It’s official. Capt’n Sammys is sold. The deal started about a month ago and today was our last day. The deal was not your usual sale; It started with the landlord buying us out of our lease, selling the debt of the company to a another restaurant and selling the equipment and assets to a different restaurant. Weird but it worked.
I won’t know what to do with myself I have 3 months off until our new place opens up in March. We will be opening up a takeout in Niagara Falls specializing in Burgers, Philly Steak, Hot dogs and of course Poutine. Our new place is right next to a 2 for 1 pizza place. They are going broke and the landlord doesn’t think they last til the end of the lease,. I don’t know how you go broke near one of the casino’s with all the walking traffic, on one of the busiest streets in Niagara Falls, but then I met the owner, he has the personality of a grape. So as soon as they go we will take over and expand our place to include pizza as well as about 30 to 40 seats.
The only downside is my wife says that I’ll be very close to the casino
