Oven question for George

Looking at spec sheets i see an option for blodget ovens to use a flu pipe with a flu diverter. They are only a couple hundred bucks. I know they have been making them that way for years. Have you run into situations were cities will now allow a flu to be used? Do you have any feelings on that vs a standard hood? Thanks in advance for any insight.
