I honestly do not think it is entirely because of the national anthem protest. The NFL is having a constant stream of problems. CTE, domestic abuse, general attitude problems with the law, etc etc. No team seems to be immune from anything anymore.
I personally stopped caring about professional sports in general because of the attitudes towards the fans and players i have seen over the years. They made the bed, they can sleep in it.
