How many phone lines do you have coming in?
I only have two lines, I use a cordless 2 line phone from radio shack that works for this purpose.
When I first start the training, I have the employee listen in on the cordless to hear what is going on, then I switch and take the cordless and let them answer the phone. As long as you use the mute button, it does not interfer with the call at all.
