Ok I am sold on the ideas posted here about mailing and mailing and mailing to an area to drive orders to my shop. Only problem is, I can’t find a company specializing in the printing. Any recommendations or referrals? Thank you again for any information.

I have two ideas for you: I have worked several times with a company called Overnight Prints at http://www.overnightprints.com. Their work is good, inexpensive and fast. There are many companies on the Internet that specialize in fast, cheap color printing, with most of them offering an online design tool and even design services. Just do a Google search – They’re everywhere.

Depending upon the quantity you want to print and how you will be mailing them, another good idea is to print your own! Our office got a color printer at http://www.freecolorprinters.com and it is still amazing after four years. Their offer sounded too good to be true – They will send you a color printer if you buy the supplies from them. Keep in mind that this is the Xerox corporation offering you a Xerox printer. It is definitely not a scam. This printer can print letters, coupons, box toppers, post cards, and you can even find pre-cut door hangers that will work in the printer.

That is a great site, especially since you can pick streets and subdivisions to market to and eliminate the ones you don’t want to.

Isn’t there some place with stock coupons already setup so all you need to do is put your name in there and the coupon terms and it’s ready to print? I am a terrible artist.

Depends on several things…how many pieces are you printing (paper vs. magnetic) and where are you located?

If you are doing paper, you are best to do it online if you are doing 1000 pcs or more. If you are doing magnetic, unless you are doing 5,000 pieces or more you are better off doing it locally as freight will increase your costs at least 20%
