quesiton on size to ball wieght

I need to make some pizza for the office party and since I’m an homebrew pizza lover my pizzas are normally in the 6 - 12 inch range. For the party I’m making a 16 inch pizza. What dough ball wieght would you recommend for hand tossed and for pan style (i’ll be making both).

Using the geometry calculations a 16" dough ball should weigh 1.78 times the 12" dough ball you are using. Here is the calculation (3.1416x8x8)/(3.1416x6x6)=1.78

Actually, as pi cancels itself out in that formula, you can just square the radii and divide.

8X8 / 6X6
