Rebates

Would rebates be considered other income or would I remove it from COGS?
What about payment for used fryer oil?

Rebates should definitely be taken off of COGS, not entered as income.

I have a separate account for mine. It’s what’s knows as a “contra” account under Cost of Goods Sold. Shows as a negative number.
