P Piper New member Jun 28, 2012 #2 Rebates should definitely be taken off of COGS, not entered as income. I have a separate account for mine. It’s what’s knows as a “contra” account under Cost of Goods Sold. Shows as a negative number. Last edited: Feb 18, 2020
