Shelves on top of oven

Hi all,

It’s been awhile since coming around these parts 😛

I am racking my brain trying to come up with ideas for shelving for to-go orders that sits on top of our single conveyor oven. Originally I was thinking metro racks that are 2 shelves high (no more than 36" tall) but I like the idea of being able to wipe them down at the end of each night and metro racks are not conducive to this unless I purchase an insert that sits atop the wire rack which would also have to be heat proof. I am also concerned about the shelf conducting too much heat and burning an employee. Does anyone have any creative ideas/solutions to this? I’d love to hear, thanks!

Hi Miss Pizza;

If you are thinking of a double shelf, having a solid shelves would block the transfer of heat to the pizzas.
