The Shirt thread really has my wheels spinning. Anyone using their shirts for promotions? I considered this in the past, but couldn’t find anything affordable. Paul’s recommendation looks great, can’t beat $3.83 for a custom shirt!
  • T-Shirt Tuesday- Wear your shirt when you pick up your order and we’ll give you …
  • If we see you out on the town in your shirt we’ll give you a $XX gift certificate.
  • Free shirt with $x purchase
Any other ideas???

hey can you direct me to Pauls comments on 3 dollar custom t shirts?

I like the idea of giving a customer something if they are caught wearing your shirt in public…Perhaps you can get some tokens printed up good for a buck or two off a pizza…Or collect so many tokens and get a free pizza…

Consider making an investment in artwork that “rocks”…$200.00 to $400.00 will give you a design for your shirts that will make fly out of your store…And a shirt that is a “hit” gives you more exposure…This is a 1 time charge…

The shirt should be a good quality one with lots of colours in the design…Or if it is a simple design perhaps a nice tie dyeshirt design…

Do a self liquidating promotion where you sell the shirts at or slightly below your cost…This should not be a profit center…It is advertsing and it’s primary purpose is to market your business…The more shirts you get out there the better…

…RCS…

I ran across a company called the $2.95 Guys who sell t-shirts for …well…you guessed it…$2.95 with only one color I think. They do require a minimum order 504 shirts.

From the site (http://www.295guys.com/site/index.php) : “The $2.95 Deal includes a White 100% cotton name brand T-shirt like with up to 8 printed colors on one side. For designs featuring more than 8 colors, add 15 cents per color, per shirt…”

I also ran across a pizzeria in CA who sells t-shirts for soemthing like $7 and give you a slice with a shirt and soda purchase…tehy sell thousands of shirts.
