The History of Pizza

The article was great but a little brief for a full history. Can you guys shed anymore light on this?

The word pizza has been pronounced differently in many parts of the word. The Greeks during the ancient times used to cover their breads with cheese, herbs and oils. It was in the year 1889 when Pizza Margherita was invented.
