The Magic of Parchment Paper with Brownies

Hi everyone!
I had a last minute brownie craving but ran out of baking parchment. Improvised with wax paper and to my surprise the brownies turned out flawless. Has anyone tried using parchment paper for brownies?

Yes! Using wax paper instead of parchment paper for baking brownies can actually work out okay in a pinch. Some folks have tried it and had no problems at all. But just keep in mind that wax paper isn’t as heat-resistant as parchment paper so it might not be the best choice for all baking situations.
If you’re in a bind and out of parchment paper give wax paper a shot but for consistently great results stick with parchment paper.
