Size, Weight, and cost. We have an LCD out on our bar, just to save space. In the kitchen, to save a bit of money we went with the CRT. LCD is the new technology, is smaller and costs a bit more.
Hi, A CRT is just like a tube TV, so it is deeper and heavier. An LCD is like what you would find on a laptop computer, much lighter and thiner. The LCD is of course more expensive as well.
