Under new management - does it work?

Need some advice. My pizzeria has not been doing well, but I do think things can turn around. I want to relaunch the store in January and state that we are under new management, has anyone seen this work? I know people give you another shot when they think it is new we just can’t mess it up. Thoughts??

My thought is why lie? Maybe admit where you’ve gone wrong in the past and state what you’ve done to correct the problems.

What are the underlying causes of your pizzeria not doing well?

What are you doing right now to fix your problems?

How do you think a “Change of Management” will fix the troubles you are facing?

A claim of being under new management if you are not could be construed as false advertising which could lead to something you don’t want to mess with.
