ways to attract new drivers

Hi guys

Anyone have any good ideas for attracting drivers. we pay a reasonable $5.35 hourly rate, $1 delivery allowance and tips. Its for my new store, had poster in window and ads in paper but only got about 8 drivers and need a few more.

Also got an ‘introduce a driver and get $50’.

Any other suggestions?

Advertise at any nearby colleges, the department of labor, and even at high school councelors/vocational programs if they will let you. Our local board of Ed has a placement office for at-risk kids who need employment. We’ve used two of these guys with good success.
