I have been adding 3% through Toast since November and have had 2 people complain and pull out cash. Several customers told me they were surprised I didn't do it sooner since everyone else does it.

I use a company called Staffed Up for 2 years now. I love them. They make social media hiring ads for you and post on indeed and glassdoor for free. I pay $40 a month.

I love my Edge 3240. I might look at 3260 at our new location for more volume. Quality ovens and no problems after 4 years except for a controller. They overnighted a new one no charge and I installed it in 10 minutes. They even gave a trick to fool the controller that night so I could open.
I sell the Mike's cups for $1.50, also. I have it on the menu to add as a drizzle out of the oven for $1. I also have a specialty pizza on the menu called the Kickin' Cupper. It is Cup and Char Pepperoni, Cup and Char Sausage, with a Hot Honey drizzle.

The pizza doesn't get soggy since it is dry air circulating. I try to get pizzas out the door asap, but have not had problems. Most pizzas are in the cabinet for about 10 minutes or less. I keep it at 160.

I give everyone a paid trial shift. At first they shadow someone, and then take over. My main thing is to show initiative. If your just standing around with you phone out its a no. You would be surprised how fast it weeds out people. I had a guy this week running circles around the guy he was...
From my understanding to be 1099, they would get paid per delivery and not shift pay. They also have to be able to not be on a schedule, and work hours they want. your insurance under workers comp would not cover them.

I have the exact combo your talking about. Ran it as a special, now it is in the top 3 tied with meats and supreme. Deli pepperoni, regular pepperoni, and cup and char. Over 70 pepperoni. Yes it is greasy, but people love it.
