That’s nice and all, but what I really meant is having an onsite backup appliance that will backup your server. This appliance also gets backed up to the cloud just in case it fails. If your server dies it can spin up a virtual machine of your server and you’re back up and running like nothing happened in minutes. I highly doubt any small Pizza Shop is at that level unless it’s one of those big chains who has their own IT team.I am new to the whole business but I do know that we are using Thrive here in the shop I work at and it has a server but backs up to a cloud daily for safekeeping…just thought I would throw that out there. We dont worry about the server crashing and losing data.
