distributor business

Hi I was wondering if anyone on here had any information related to the pizzeria distributor business. I have had trouble trying to find info about owning a business like this. I know many owners, and have a business degree, worked in pizzerias and love pizza and was thinking of trying to start a food and supply delivery business, just having trouble getting info. Where can I find wholesale prices, which products to supply? Do the distributors make their goods or get them wholesale? Thanks for any help!

Wow, I don’t even know were to begin. Are you serious?
A food distributor is an extremely large investment of capital. Even on a small scale you are probably looking at a 5 million dollar investment minimum. Nearly all products are bought at wholesale and marked up. Some distributors may manufacture or process a few items. As others are going to tell you, get a job in industry and learn all you can.
