Electric Countertop Pasta Cooker

Looking at getting one of these. A Google search brings up Nemco’s 240V unit. Anyone use one of these or something similar? Any problems with the health department?

Right now we use a soup warmer to “heat” noodles to order but would like to get this unit to cook and heat to order.

Its not only health dept, but the fire dept…many may require any heat source capable of generating ‘grease’ (even though you are only boiling water) be under a hood W/an ansel system…

Tho I’ve had great success in the past with hi-end induction plates, vrs the old skool hot plates…ya need a special pot/pan, but its quick…

Check with building, health and fire departments. The rules appear to vary from county to county.
