Free food for COPS on the job?

Funny but true story!
Last night a rather unkept looking gentleman came in to the store and said he phoned in an order. Then flashed his badge and ask if I still gave RCMP a discount. Then ask me to keep his identity secret as he was undercover.

We give 50% discount to any Public Safety employees, or military in uniform.

For me, offering discounts to on duty public safety officials sometimes keeps them in town during the entire shift rather than their having to go to the next town to get dinner if they didn’t bring a meal with them.

That’s a great reason that I had never thought of. Keeping them close by in case a need would arise.

I am doing the below for several reasons, one being that I understand that other food places in town do the same, except for the free soda, I just had to get that jab in !..doubt that will make much difference, maybe though, what do know !?!
