Has anyone been having issues with this cheese? We have found numerous bags with dirt or oil from the machinery in the cheese and in some of the bags, straight up mold. Bags are all sealed, very close to their pack dates. Just unacceptable. We’ve reached out to the local rep and he’s aware but hasn’t done anything
 
We used that cheese for over a year. After multiple orders coming in with mold on the cheese and the most of the cheese coming in soggy and wet we have discontinued using it. We were buying over 1,000lbs of mozzarella block from them each week. They could care less that we stopped.

We raised this issue with them around this time last year. Said they had some sealing issues and they were fixed now. Didn't even offer us free cases or anything. Then they wouldn't release our rebate to us. Shady as fuck. Obviously they haven't fixed their sealing issue
 
That’s really disappointing to hear, especially from a brand like Galbani! Cheese is such a staple and you shouldn’t have to deal with issues like dirt, oil or mold in sealed bags. It sounds like a quality control problem that needs immediate attention.
