So are you saying that I can add to an order and then delete the offending item, and as long as the total does not go down, revention will adjust the credit card?

You can do whatever you want. If the order is less, then the authorization is adjusted to the new amount.

In order words, no more having to delete payment, make your changes, and rerun card and wait for the customer to complain that you “charged them twice”.
