I ended up being down 7.6% from last January. February isn’t starting off much better. I have to agree that the delay on tax returns this year has been a major blow through the 1st 5 weeks of the year. Only one way to go from here hopefully!

We have been in business since 1959 and January has always been the slowest month. Through the week is always down and the weekends are always crazy.

It’s a good month to introduce a new menu item. We started serving fresh cut fries in January. Keep this in mind for next January if you have any ideas on something to add. I think January gives you that opportunity without being overwhelmed if your new item takes off. September has also been a good month for that in our experience.

EXACTLY, if my Monday and sometimes Tuesday sales would catch up I would be OK, those are the days killing me right now.
