Wow bao "dark Kitchen"

Anyone currently doing this? Seems like a profitable add-on, I have small (1,200sf) carry-out / drive-thru pizzeria generating very low sales; Looking to increase revenue (profit) with existing staff and fixed expenses.

WB is claiming: Current Average Unit Volume is $857/week, taking into consideration we partner with ice cream shops that during the summer only turn us on a few days.

I’ve done it. It’s a nice income stream. You need minimal equipment. Food comes ready to warm or steam. They promote you on the 3rd party delivery sites. You make money. That $850 is a good average unless you’re in a good court at a mall and then it’s substantially more. You get your product from US Foods or Sysco. And learning is very minimal.

You might want to look into the demand for Wow Bao in your area before committing, especially if your current sales are already low. Since you have a drive-thru setup, adding a quick, high-margin item like bao could work if it complements your existing customer base.

Also, if you're considering expanding into desserts, ice cream could be a solid option, especially during warmer months. I recently came across this blog that breaks down the carbs in ice cream cones, which might help if you’re thinking about adding dessert options:

Maybe something worth exploring!

Make it stop. No one wants to hang out here anymore.
