The state of police ability these days really does s.u.ck. Understaffed, improperly managed. The only crimes that have a chance of getting āsolvedā are the ones that make the headlines and garner resources or where the perpetrator confesses.
We just had our two walk-in compressors stolen off the roof. We had just purchased them and before we could move them to the new building, someone took them. Pretty sure it was the AC contractor who was the only one that had access. Of course, no way to prove it even though we gave the police serial numbers. They donāt have the time to check the inventory of the contractor. Ah well, thatās life.
